My "go to" pieces for great interior design!
I was recently asked how I as a designer choose pieces for my clients. I did not think much of this question at first. After giving it a lot of thought I came to the conclusion that this is a great question and therefor I wanted to take the time to answer it:
First and foremost the most determining factor regarding what pieces I use is the clients budget. For a more budget restricted client I turn to www.bolia.com, www.hay.dk, www.sabaitalia.it, www.Laskasas.com, www.nordal.eu and more. I definitely have a favorite sofa the Ananta Class from Saba Italia. I love the design, the fabrics, the Italian finishes and the value for money.
Another favorite of mine is the Bolia pendant lamp “Orb”. It can be integrated in different styles and always looks great. Again the value for money is just really good.
As a designer, the more projects you take on the more experience you gain through client feedback. This is how I choose my products. I make sure to always implement my go tos and new pieces I maybe have not been using as actively in the past. This is how I am constantly growing my interior design library. For online projects such a library of products is very valuable and makes the process more efficient which in return allows us to offer an affordable online interior design service.
