Committing to a design project from A to Z!
Taking on a project means committing. This can be a very challenging task in interior design.
Our job is not only visual but also very emotional. A good designer is not only designing as a 09:00 to 05:00 job. A designer puts in emotion which naturally leads to a relationship that must be treated with great care. Committing means to also commit on an emotional level and stay committed till the last minute.
It is essential that our design is connected with the insights about who our costumer is, what they need and how we can help them fulfill those needs. It is crucial for us to remember who will be receiving the output of our work directly.
We make sure to stay in touch with the context and impact of our designs by always keeping the possible outcomes of our work in mind.
To successfully complete a project we stay committed to every last detail to deliver a design of high quality and integrity that will stand the test of time and have the impact intended. All too often have I witnessed designs crumble at the last minute because the designer did not manage to pull through. If you loose focus and emotional connection close to the finishing line, your whole concept can fall apart, because the final touches, the last 3 % are the make or break.
Even when we do see a light at the end of the tunnel, we lean in, work harder towards the finish line and push further with every iteration to ensure a lasting impact.
